The Sensitive Topic

If you are a lady reading this, you will most probably agree with me. One of the most touchy topic you can ever have with female species will be on..... weight.

So this morning I was having my usual chit chat with Mr VL and I was telling him about my current diet plan of taking slimming tea and meal replacement protein shake. I know he was really kindhearted to ask me to take it easy and be caution of my health. But Mr VL aka Mr Honest.Blunt.Balls said "You don't look bad lah. You are pretty. Just pretty with a bigger body, bigger bones."

Ok pause right there... If you are a Mars creature or aka man reading this, that was a very close and dangerous attempt to shoot yourself in your foot. Anything that comes close or rhythms with fat, big, round (you got the jive) sets off an alarm in the female's head. Luckily Mr VL got an out of jail card as he's a good friend for couple of years now. But to all other dudes out there, when a female ask you about anything that got to do with her weight, body shape, her hips, thighs or arms. Be sensitive and tactfully avoid the topic.

I've always been doing on and off diets and it has been a few years now. No I'm not obese. I am comfortable with my body but just like any other woman, I wants to look better and feel better. So besides the usual feeble attempt to exercise more, I think the choice of diet is rather critical. And that is accordingly to the new 80/20 rule, that is seeing weight loss as being about 80 percent of your diet and 20 percent about exercise.

So my current diet gig includes:

Naturade, Total Soy, Meal Replacement, Chocolate

I add two scoops of this chocolate powder to cold water as a meal replacement for my lunch. Surprisingly, it really taste quite yum and did made the hunger pangs go away. It's been a week now and as long as I have a proper breakfast, I will only start to feel hungry around evening time. Already placed order for the vanilla flavor!

Natrol, AcaiBerry, The Ultimate Super Fruit, Extra Strength

First time trying the raved super fruit. Can't really sense much effect now and will update after I finish the bottle.

21st Century Health Care, Herbal Slimming Tea, Honey-Lemon

They call it slimming tea, I'm not gonna sugar coat it. I call it diarrhea tea. It makes you detox... real good. Timed bowel movements. I don't find it too uncomfortable so the trooper within me tells me to keep up and finish the box. Taste pretty good actually.

I get most of my health supplements, hand cream and toiletries from iHerb. This US site has been established for more than 15 years now and I find them cheap plus very efficient. If you are a first time buyer, you can use my promo code CSR674 to get $10 dollars off your first purchase.
